Jesus Christ Did Not Come For Only One Day Of The Year

Jesus Christ Did Not Come For Only One Day Of The Year

Jesus Christ did not come for only one day of the year, and that as a baby.He came as the God who created the universe. The God who loved us so much, that He had to make a way to get into the earth and mount the most heroic rescue mission, that has ever, or ever will be undertaken. He knew that only He could bring about, execute, and finish this plan; so that mankind could live again. To be able to enter into our earth realm; He had to lay down His divinity, and become a man like us, yet without our sin nature, so that He would be the perfect, innocent, sacrifice; the true fulfillment of the paschal lamb of the Old Testament. He not only had to come to earth from His own planet, heaven, as a man, but had to enter legally, as firstly the seed within Mary's womb, and then as we all do, progress through all the stages of pregnancy, birth, and childhood, until eventually He would come to the age determined by the Father, to begin His ministry.Philippians 2.5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. He is the same yesterday, today, and for ever.He is the true gift, given to us by God, in God's great love for us in that; For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3.16 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.John 3.17.And Hebrews 11.6 says, But without faith, ( trusting in God and His word. what He has said ) it is impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God, must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.If you have not already received Him as your special VIP guest; why not do it while it is still today.Just as you would, and perhaps already have received gifts given to you, at this Christmas time of the year; so also receive Him as the ultimate pearl of great price, or the certainty that in receiving Him, you will have received everything that is true; life in abundance, both now and forever.Open the door of your heart, and invite Him to come into every room of your life.Matthew 13.44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls. 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.Would you not want to experience what your version of an ideal Christmas day would be like, with family and friends; giving and receiving of gifts; experiencing true joy, not just happiness dictated by events, but that true deep joy and peace of the heart, which bubbles over and consumes each moment.Would you not want to walk with the one who created the universe with His word, who calls and knows each star by name, who also knows how many hairs are on each of our heads, ( some we can count ourselves ).To be able to walk with the one who already has our destiny in his hands, and will help us day by day to walk out His plan for our lives.Truly all our Christmases would come at once.So how do we appropriate God's divine gift to us,.Romans 10.4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above.) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart. that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? Here we have the Truth, the Life, and the Way, of salvation. It remains now for you to act upon that which you have read and heard today. If you believe the things that you have read and heard today, then follow this prayer from your own heart, and speak to Him who is real and who loves you so much that He was willing to pay the price for your sin, by His own death on the cross, and descent into hell; that He, the God who created the universe and all things could have relationship with you, in the here and now.Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me and cleanse me of my sin.And as I have read that which is in your word, if I call upon your name I shall be saved. So according to your word, I now invite you to come and live in my heart, and be my Saviour and my Lord, from this moment on, and for eternity.I now give you praise for honouring your word and saving me.I thank you Lord Jesus, that you are now my Lord and Saviour according to my believing and acting upon your word.Thank you.
